Assistant Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily operations of the kitchen
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Inventory and ordering experience needed
  • Manage scheduling, shifts, and staffing to ensure smooth operation
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality
  • Foster a positive, professional, and accountable team culture
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and management teams to meet restaurant goals

Assistant Kitchen Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years in a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef role
  • Proven experience in coaching, development, and team leadership
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience in scheduling and shift management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Comfortable receiving and providing feedback in a constructive manner
