Chef de Cuisine Requirements & Qualifications


  • Minimum 3 years of culinary management experience in high-volume kitchens.
  • Proven experience managing staff and maintaining high standards throughout shifts.
  • Strong passion for serving exceptional food.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to manage food, beverage, and labor costs while upholding required standards.
  • Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, recordkeeping, and report preparation.
  • Strong analytical skills, including budgetary and financial acumen.


Chef de Cuisine Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Oversee all operations and elements of the kitchen.
  • Participate in hiring, supervising, scheduling, and training kitchen managers, chefs, and crew.
  • Implement and maintain systems to ensure high food preparation and quality control standards, driving sales through exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage food costs, labor costs, and other operating expenses while effectively communicating with the team and supervisors.
  • Lead by example in all product development initiatives.
  • Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues, ensuring a highly organized and detail-oriented environment while managing multiple production areas
