Chef de Cuisine Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of relevant culinary management experience, ideally in Italian fine dining or upscale restaurants with units generating $4–5 million
- Deep understanding of seasonal ingredients, plating aesthetics, and kitchen management
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual demeanor
- Demonstrated drive for exceptional guest service
- Open availability
- Professional appearance and grooming standards suitable for premier fine dining
Chef de Cuisine Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a high-performing culinary team
- Develop and execute seasonal menus with an emphasis on quality, creativity, and consistency
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including inventory, costing, and vendor relationships
- Uphold the highest standards of health, sanitation, and safety
- Foster a culture of respect, discipline, and positive growth within the kitchen
