Sous Chef | Orland Park, IL

We are seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to join a quality-driven, full-service restaurant in Orland Park. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping kitchen operations, maintaining high standards, and developing a high-performing back-of-house team. Scratch kitchen experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily kitchen operations and service execution
  • Lead, coach, and develop line cooks and prep staff
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and timing
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and food cost management
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Help establish kitchen culture, systems, and operational standards

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Sous Chef or strong Kitchen Manager experience
  • Full-service, high-volume restaurant experience required
  • Scratch kitchen experience is a plus
  • Strong leadership and expediting skills
  • Proven ability to build and develop teams
  • Stable career progression with a track record of reliability
