Director of Sales and Service Requirements & Qualifications – this is what will be prioritized:

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing sales, service, or channel management
  • Proven experience working with dealer networks or distribution channels
  • Background in capital equipment sales, quoting, and estimating processes
  • Strong technical acumen with industrial equipment, machinery, or automation
  • Experience overseeing both sales pipeline management and field service operations
  • Ability to build processes and structure in a less formal, evolving environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Must-Have Responsibilities (Day-to-Day Impact):

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a national dealer network, managing relationships, resolving conflicts, and improving coverage gaps
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new dealers while negotiating agreements and driving channel expansion
  • Oversee quoting and estimating functions, ensuring accuracy in complex and custom equipment proposals
  • Lead and support field service operations, including installs, commissioning, and escalation of technical issues
  • Partner with leadership, engineering, and manufacturing to provide feedback on pricing, product gaps, and market demand
  • Drive sales pipeline visibility with regular forecasting and communication to internal stakeholders
  • Own marketing coordination, including campaign planning, trade show execution, and alignment with external partners


Director of Sales and Service Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience in print, packaging, industrial equipment, or related manufacturing sectors
  • Background in small to mid-sized manufacturing environments
  • Experience rebuilding or improving underperforming dealer or channel relationships
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence without heavy structure
  • Hands-on approach with a mix of strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams in engineering and production environments
