A progressive healthcare organization is seeking a seasoned, hands-on Sous Chef to join an innovative, high-volume culinary team. This is a leadership role for someone who leads from the front, thrives in the kitchen, and contributes value immediately. This role requires relocation to a rural town in northern Kansas.


Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Support daily kitchen operations in an open-kitchen environment
  • Lead by example with hands-on prep, service, and cleanup
  • Ensure strong mise en place, organization, and execution
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff
  • Collaborate on menu development and process improvements
  • Serve as a professional ambassador in a guest-facing setting

Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive kitchen leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of kitchen logistics and mise en place
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Healthcare foodservice experience a plus, not required
  • Ability and desire to relocate to a beautiful town in rural Kansas
