General Manager Requirements & Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Proven restaurant management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet during shifts
  • Strong communication skills; English business proficiency required


General Manager Preferred Background & Skills


  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; working knowledge of Spanish kitchen and food vocabulary is valued
  • Experience with B2B marketing or third-party delivery platforms


General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Lead all store employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, feedback, and ongoing development
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and positive guest engagement
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory management, and daily food preparation for safety and consistency
  • Analyze food and labor costs, and contribute to financial performance, reporting, and P&L reconciliation
  • Manage staff schedules within labor budgets and maintain compliance with safety and sanitation protocols
  • Direct POS operations and oversee third-party delivery services
  • Participate in company-wide initiatives and various operational responsibilities
