Floating General Manager Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations across multiple restaurant locations to ensure consistency and excellence
  • Lead, mentor, and develop General Managers and management teams
  • Foster a positive, hospitality-focused culture throughout all locations
  • Drive guest satisfaction, operational performance, and financial results
  • Analyze sales, labor, and operational metrics to improve profitability and efficiency
  • Support recruiting, hiring, training, and leadership development initiatives
  • Maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, food quality, and team accountability
  • Work closely with ownership and senior leadership to execute company goals and growth strategies
  • Travel between locations regularly to provide hands-on leadership and operational support
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and labor regulations

Floating General Manager Qualifications

  • 5+ years of multi-unit restaurant management experience preferred
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing high-volume restaurant operations
  • Strong ability to develop teams and mentor restaurant leaders
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Financial management experience including labor, inventory, and P&L oversight
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong operational presence
  • Passion for hospitality, team culture, and guest experience
