Human Resources Consultant (JD / Employment Law – MA)

Overview:

We are a Boston-based HR consulting firm serving the restaurant and hospitality industry. We provide strategic and hands-on HR support, from compliance to employee relations, helping clients build strong HR foundations.

Role:

Seeking a Human Resources Consultant with a JD and 2+ years of Massachusetts employment law experience. HR experience is a plus. This mostly remote role includes occasional in-person meetings. Full-time or part-time arrangements and flexible hours are possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on employee relations, terminations, and compliance issues
  • Draft/revise handbooks, employment documents, and disciplinary notices
  • Conduct investigations (e.g., harassment claims)
  • Guide on accommodations, leaves, and wage/hour compliance
  • Lead management trainings and support complex employee situations

Qualifications:

  • JD with 2+ years Massachusetts employment law experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Solutions-oriented, client-focused, self-starter
  • Interest in hospitality and people-focused environments

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $100,000 – $130,000
