Restaurant Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong floor presence across café, bar, and food hall areas to coach teams and ensure seamless service execution
  • Uphold hospitality standards and service philosophy across all team members
  • Ensure food and beverage quality, presentation, and service consistently exceed expectations
  • Interview, hire, train, coach, and provide feedback to team members and supervisors
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement new service concepts or operational improvements

Restaurant Assistant Manager Qualifications:

  • 2–4+ years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience, preferably in multi-outlet or café/bar environments
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence
  • Experience with café, light food prep, and beverage operations (coffee, cocktails, wine, beer)
  • Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Ability to manage multiple outlets or service areas simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, and weekends
