We’re hiring a part-time Apprenticeship Program Coordinator to keep apprenticeship programs running smoothly, accurately, and on track. This role is the backbone of program operations-- managing records, tracking progress, and keeping contractors and apprentices aligned. Apprenticeship Program Coordinator Benefits and Compensation:

Apprenticeship Program Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces without letting anything slip
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, tracking data, and maintaining accurate records
  • High attention to detail-- this role lives and dies by documentation accuracy
  • Strong communication skills across contractors, apprentices, and leadership
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for regular local travel to contractor sites, training locations, and industry events
  • Ability to manage compliance-related documentation and maintain audit-ready records

Must haves:

  • Track apprentice OJT hours, program progression, and status changes in real time
  • Maintain clean, structured digital filing systems that someone else can actually understand
  • Follow up directly with contractors to collect missing documentation and keep programs moving
  • Coordinate apprentice registrations, completions, and updates without bottlenecks
  • Travel locally to contractor sites and events to support program operations and maintain relationships
  • Support reporting and data tracking tied to program compliance and performance

Apprenticeship Program Coordinator Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience in workforce development, apprenticeship programs, or skilled trades environments
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven programs or regulatory reporting
  • Experience working with contractors, unions, or trade-based organizations
  • Comfort assisting with events, meetings, and industry outreach
  • Ability to balance administrative work with occasional in-person engagement
