We’re looking for a hands-on Area Director to lead a group of high-volume, drive-thru restaurants across the Upstate. In this field-first role, you’ll drive results in people, performance, and profitability by coaching General Managers, improving execution, and setting clear standards every day.

Area Director Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop 5–6 General Managers, setting clear expectations for execution, accountability, and growth.
  • Drive operational results in speed of service, accuracy, food quality, and guest experience, focusing on drive-thru performance.
  • Own area results, including labor, food and controllable costs, and planning to achieve business goals.
  • Build talent by hiring strong leaders, maintaining bench strength, and coaching managers when performance falls short.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, HR practices, and all regulatory requirements while fostering a professional work environment.

Area Director Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years as an Area Director or comparable multi-unit leader, managing 5+ restaurants and General Managers.
  • Proven success controlling costs and driving performance in high-volume quick-service restaurants ($2MM+ annual sales).
  • Strong people leader with the ability to evaluate talent, coach effectively, and develop reliable teams.
  • Clear, direct communicator who can organize priorities and implement change in the field.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, comfortable with early starts, regular travel, and field leadership across the Upstate region
