Banquet Chef


A respected hospitality group is seeking a hands-on Banquet Chef to execute upscale culinary functions and help deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This role is ideal for a chef who loves cooking scratch chef-driven cuisine, polished atmosphere, high-quality service, and takes pride in developing others.


Banquet Chef Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the banquet culinary team with professionalism, urgency, and enthusiasm

• Execute upscale catered functions with consistency and attention to detail

• Ensure the banquet kitchen is organized, prepared, and operating efficiently

• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety

• Partner with hotel and culinary departments to ensure seamless guest experiences

• Develop team members through coaching, training, and hands-on leadership

• Uphold company culture, standards, and values with integrity

• Ensure compliance with all food service, sanitation, county, and state regulations


Banquet Chef Requirements:

• 2+ years of chef-level experience in upscale catering, banquets, or hotel culinary operations

• Background in upscale, fine dining, or scratch kitchen environments

• Culinary degree preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• High energy with a strong sense of urgency and ownership

• Passion for food, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety

• Ability to execute at a high level in a high-volume environment

• Open availability, including days, nights, weekends, and scheduled functions
