Position Overview

The Service & Bar Manager is a key member of the restaurant leadership team, responsible for front-of-house operations, bar execution, team development, and delivering exceptional hospitality. This role is ideal for a visible, hands-on leader who enjoys coaching people, developing talent, and creating an outstanding guest experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop front-of-house team members.
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence in the dining room, bar, and guest arrival areas.
  • Drive exceptional guest satisfaction through service excellence and effective guest recovery.
  • Manage beverage operations, inventory, purchasing, and cost controls.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop hourly team members.
  • Build schedules and manage labor to meet operational goals.
  • Partner with the General Manager to drive restaurant performance.
  • Maintain high standards for hospitality, cleanliness, safety, and operational execution.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.
  • Strong front-of-house leadership and team development experience.
  • Experience managing bar operations, beverage inventory, and cost controls preferred.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Calm, organized, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality and guest engagement.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to developing high-performing teams.
