Roadway Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a Roadway Design Engineer for a well-established, growing company. The ideal candidate for the Roadway Design Engineer role will assist the engineering department in designing and assisting in managing roadway projects.

Roadway Design Engineer Compensation & Benefits: 

• Salary ranging from $80K - $100K based on experience

Roadway Design Engineer Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Knowledge of familiarity with NCDOT design, CAD criteria, and experience applying them in plan development

• Ability to work independently and/or with a team on efforts related to roadway design analysis and studies.

• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with in-house staff, sub-consultants, and clients

• Knowledge of project management involving roadway design, analysis, and design projects, including coordination with clients and permitting agencies.

• Have roadway design experience

• Have working knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines for Highway Design and the FHWA Roadway Design Manual.

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

• Knowledge and experience with MicroStation, GeoPak, and Open Roads is a plus
