General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive restaurant leadership experience, including general manager roles in upscale casual or fine dining
- Strong background in cost control, budgeting, and P&L management
- Demonstrated success building guest loyalty through active floor presence
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and retain high-performing teams
- Deep understanding of hospitality standards and dining room operations

General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming presence in the dining room and primary ambassador of the restaurant’s standards and culture
- Conduct meaningful table visits to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly
- Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and cleanliness
- Lead pre-shift meetings and coordinate closely with the culinary team to deliver seamless service
- Manage P&L performance, controlling costs and driving revenue growth through strategic planning
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a hospitality team while fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism
