Manager Requirements & Qualifications


  • Minimum ServSafe, Choke Saver, and Tips certifications (current)
  • Demonstrated stability: No more than 2 jobs in the past 5 years
  • Thorough knowledge of current labor laws, alcohol beverage regulations, and wage requirements
  • Experience leading and holding teams accountable to service standards
  • Familiarity with purchasing and labor budgets


Manager Preferred Background & Skills


  • Experience conducting performance reviews and progressive discipline
  • Strong background in front-of-house scheduling and staff training
  • Previous hiring experience within a restaurant environment
  • Upscale casual restaurant background


Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Plan, direct, and hold employees accountable to consistently deliver exceptional guest service
  • Ensure all food, beverage, and service standards are met at all times
  • Oversee FOH scheduling and manage staffing to budgets
  • Conduct table and ticket audits for accuracy, addressing issues as needed
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings and ongoing staff training around menu and product updates
  • Carry out performance reviews and maintain accurate employee files per government standards
  • Hire, train, and develop front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team culture
  • Enforce all administrative, security, and safety procedures
