Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager Benefits & Compensation


  • Competitive base salary ($50K–$70K) plus commission on new business and renewals

Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager Requirements & Qualifications


  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Proven experience with personal lines insurance products
  • Strong consultative sales and client relationship skills
  • Comfortable managing a book of business and driving retention results
  • Familiarity with compliance, carrier underwriting, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with Applied EPIC or similar agency management systems


Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager Preferred Background & Skills


  • Experience selling or servicing auto, home, renters, umbrella, and specialty personal lines
  • Knowledge of preferred and non-standard market carriers
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus


Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Build and nurture client relationships while managing an existing book of business ($2.5MM in premium)
  • Sell a range of personal insurance products and generate new business through inbound and outbound outreach
  • Conduct client needs analyses and present tailored coverage recommendations
  • Ensure a smooth transition of accounts to service teammates for quoting and administration
  • Accurately document client interactions and sales activities in management systems
  • Stay current on market trends and carrier guidelines to align solutions with client needs
