Hotel General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Train, Lead, Mentor, and develop team members to consistently provide a memorable Guest experience
  • Oversee and manage overall operations of the Hotel, including but not limited to, Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, and Engineering
  • Identify property needs and execute a plan to address those needs
  • Prepare operational budgets, facilitating financial planning and expense control
  • Forecast revenue based on market segments and execute a plan to exceed revenue goals
  • Serve as the Brand Ambassador in the Community 

Hotel General Manager Qualifications:

  • At least 3–5 years of General Manager experience
  • Ability to think critically to develop strategies for success
  • Thrive in an ever-changing & fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record in delivering financial results
  • Need to be able to analyze a P&L to ensure cost controls
  • Ability to analyze Guest Service reports and recognize market trends
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of positive associate satisfaction scores
