Lead Instructor Requirements & Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience preferred.
  • Prior experience working with children is required.
  • Must pass a background check.


Lead Instructor Preferred Background & Skills


  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Experience with various art techniques and mediums.
  • Strong child behavior management skills.


Lead Instructor Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Plan and develop engaging art activities in line with the organization’s offerings.
  • Communicate and present activity content to the manager for approval.
  • Lead and instruct children in various creative art activities at onsite and offsite locations.
  • Prepare materials and set up activities in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to children and families during events.
  • Maintain a clean and organized activity area throughout sessions.
