REGIONAL VETERINARY MEDICAL DIRECTOR — REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
• Active New York veterinary license
• 10+ years of small animal GP experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience (multi-site preferred)
• Strong proficiency in medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery
• Operationally minded with performance accountability experience
• High emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership style

REGIONAL VETERINARY MEDICAL DIRECTOR — DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide regional medical oversight across multiple hospitals
• Maintain hands-on clinical presenc
• Ensure compliance with medical SOPs and clinical best practices
• Support and monitor practice-level performance and NPS scores
• Partner with Managing Veterinarians and nursing leadership
• Onboard and mentor new veterinarians
• Partner with recruiting on DVM sourcing and regional hiring events
• Drive a culture of collaboration, hospitality, and continuous improvement
