Want to work in the Hamptons for the season? We are a growing high-end restaurant group in the Hamptons, looking for chefs who can handle the volume and want to spend a season on the beach!


HOUSING INCLUDED, Benefits, $2100 weekly gross, plus bonus. May till the end of September. Most of our kitchen has been with us for over 10 years!


You will be responsible for exceptional food service, customer service, and operations by managing all aspects of the kitchen, guest interactions, and catering functions. You will be directing and motivating your team to provide customer service that elicits genuine smiles. As the CDC you will be an internal part of the profitability of the kitchen. We need a leader who has an exceptional understanding of all P&Ls. We have a terrific salary, benefits, and HOUSING INCLUDED! This role has tons of growth potential!

 

CDC Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that these are followed and monitored through a series of audits
  • All preparations are as per the standard recipes
  • The food served is of high quality
  • The kitchen does a timely execution of all orders placed by the Restaurants 
  • To ensure cost control and evaluate ways and means of guaranteeing low food cost without compromising on the quality of the food
  • To ensure that a high standard of food quality is maintained, as per the standard recipes
  • Collaboratively work with the home office and other managers daily

CDC Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a scratch kitchen
  • High-volume experience
  • Understands quality
  • Exhibits a hands-on approach and is proud to be a patient teacher and coach to their team
  • Five years’ experience as a chef
  • Culinary Degree preferred
  • Complete acumen of all financial reports.
