Sommelier - Italian, Fine Dining

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive base salary of $80,000–$90,000, plus sales commission

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and curate the wine program, including BTG selection, purchasing, and inventory
• Provide a world-class wine experience to guests through thoughtful pairings and personalized recommendations
• Lead wine education and training for FOH staff to ensure consistent excellence
• Build and maintain strong vendor and distributor relationships
• Collaborate with ownership and leadership to drive wine sales and profitability

Qualifications:

• Certified Sommelier (WSET Level II preferred)
• Proven success in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting
• Strong wine knowledge across regions and varietals, with a focus on guest engagement
• Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills
• Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and a polished presentation
