Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a commercial technician (foodservice, refrigeration, or HVAC) - Combination is ideal
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier items as needed
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals
- Superb customer service skills and ability to work independently
- Standard computer proficiency
- Own industry-standard hand tools
- Ability to travel extensively within the region
- Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as part of on-call rotation
- Well-groomed, professional appearance
- Valid Social Security number
Preferred Background & Skills
- Universal EPA certification
- Experience with both kitchen equipment and HVAC/refrigeration systems
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Mechanical inclination and eagerness to learn new skills
Technician Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to restaurant sites to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose service issues, source replacement parts, and calibrate systems to manufacturer specifications
- Communicate repair status clearly with client staff and coordinate schedules
- Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on industry technologies
- Complete all service documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain your service vehicle, tools, uniforms, and adhere to safety policies
