Electrical Panel Builder – Dayton, OH

A growing industrial manufacturing company specializing in custom furnaces and control systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Builder to join their team in Dayton, Ohio. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity offering long-term stability, full benefits, and the chance to work in a clean, organized shop environment with a highly experienced engineering team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials
  • Assemble and wire control panels, including mounting and terminating PLCs, VFDs, contactors, and relays
  • Pull and run wire through conduit; bend and mount conduit securely
  • Perform functional and safety testing of assembled panels
  • Troubleshoot and repair wiring issues or component problems during assembly
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certificate preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in panel building, machine wiring, or industrial electrical work
  • Strong understanding of 240V/480V single and 3-phase circuits, AC/DC control circuits
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics accurately
  • Familiarity with UL 508A standards and industrial control systems is a plus
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools
  • Must possess good attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000–$80,000 annual salary, depending on experience
