District Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of multi-unit Quick Service Restaurant leadership experience
  • Experience overseeing high-volume restaurants with drive-thru operations
  • Proven success leading, coaching, and developing General Managers
  • Strong operational leadership with the ability to drive sales, profitability, and labor performance
  • Experience managing multiple restaurant P&Ls and analyzing financial performance trends
  • Ability to conduct restaurant audits, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective action plans
  • Track record of improving team retention, culture, and guest satisfaction scores
  • Comfortable leading from the front and supporting restaurant operations when needed
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the district
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required
  • ServSafe® Manager and Proctor certification preferred

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and support 6–8 restaurant locations within the district
  • Conduct regular restaurant visits to evaluate operational execution and team performance
  • Coach General Managers on staffing, retention, guest service, and operational standards
  • Analyze district financial performance and partner with leaders to improve results
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvement strategies
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, food safety, and operational procedures
  • Build succession plans and identify high-potential future leaders within the organization

 

District Manager Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience with fast-growing QSR or Fast Casual restaurant organizations
  • Background leading high-volume restaurants generating $1M+ in annual sales
  • Experience improving operational consistency across multiple locations
  • Associate degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred
  • Strong leadership presence with a hands-on management style
  • Passion for developing people and creating a positive team culture
  • Experience with restaurant staffing strategies, training programs, and succession planning
