Requirements & Qualifications


  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) required
  • 15+ years of experience in transportation, roadway, or highway engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience
  • Proven success in client relationship management and business development within the transportation sector
  • Familiarity with PennDOT or PTC design standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with MicroStation preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, team management, and mentorship abilities
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to utilize dashboards, metrics, and data for decision-making


Preferred Background & Skills


  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience with MicroStation and transportation design software
  • Deep knowledge of municipal approvals and public process navigation
  • Experience across Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Allentown transportation markets


Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-location team to deliver transportation projects aligned with the firm’s mission and values
  • Oversee project execution from planning and safety analysis through delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence
  • Serve as a primary client contact, building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional service to both public and private sector clients
  • Manage project budgets, staffing, scheduling, and financials, proactively addressing challenges
  • Guide design strategy and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners
  • Prepare compelling proposals, lead client interviews, and advance new business opportunities
  • Support complex public processes, municipal approvals, and industry engagement to strengthen firm visibility
