Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of food & beverage experience
- 2+ years in a restaurant management role
- Strong background in front-of-house operations and upscale guest service
- Extensive knowledge of wine and whiskey
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- ServSafe Manager Food and Alcohol Certification within 90 days of hire
Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house restaurant and bar operations
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience and high-quality dining atmosphere
- Lead, coach, train, and motivate front-of-house associates
- Manage staffing levels, labor efficiency, and shift execution
- Support revenue goals and help control operating expenses
- Maintain strong product knowledge of wine and bourbon offerings
- Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Uphold service standards, safety, sanitation, and company expectations
