Dining Room Manager Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Forbes 5-star property or equivalent in the luxury dining segment of the industry
  • Proven leadership skills and commitment to excellence
  • Track record of guest complaint resolution
  • Level 1 certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers
  • Proven financial and business acumen; analytical skills, and ability to meet and exceed set budgets
  • Unparalleled passion for hospitality, food, and wine
  • Ability to respectfully mentor, train, develop, and hold teams accountable to expectations
  • Ability to exemplify choreographed dining service with finesse
  • Experience with Resort Suite and Tock operating systems

Dining Room Manager Responsibilities

  • Oversight and management of all aspects of the main dining room
  • Create and review weekly FOH team schedules
  • Oversee the management of reservation confirmations
  • Collaborate with leadership to address social media comments related to service issues
  • Manage pre-shift messaging and oversee EOD notes as related to daily operations
  • Practice a consistent survey of the facility to ensure the staff and guests have everything they need to have a positive experience
