Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- True passion for food and hospitality
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant experience
- Experience managing $2M+ in annual sales
- Adaptable, organized, and a strong problem-solver
- Can-do attitude and a genuine interest in both back- and front-of-house operations
- Fast casual or casual dining background
Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills
- Multilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (this is a plus but NOT required)
Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a positive, productive, and fun work environment
- Champion labor, food, and profit and loss budget management
- Lead, develop, and mentor team members for top-tier guest experiences
- Ensure consistent execution of service and culinary standards
- Collaborate with the general manager and support cross-functional learning between kitchen and front-of-house teams
