This position requires at least 5 years in an upscale front-of-the-house management role with experience in upscale dining establishments. The candidate must be a hands-on leader and developer of teams. Experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred is a plus.
Restaurant Manager Qualifications:
- 3+ years of management experience in a luxury dining setting
- Proven leadership skills and commitment to excellence
- Track record of guest complaint resolution
- Wine knowledge and sommelier experience are a plus, but not required
- Proven financial and business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to meet and exceed set budgets
- Unparalleled passion for hospitality, food, and wine
- Ability to respectfully mentor, train, develop, and hold teams accountable to expectations
- Ability to exemplify choreographed dining service with finesse
- Experience with Resort Suite and Tock operating systems
Restaurant Manager Responsibilities
- Oversight and management of all aspects of the main dining room
- Oversee the reservation process and confirmations
- Collaborate with leadership to address social media comments related to service issues
- Assist with pre-shift messaging and oversee EOD notes as related to daily operations
- Practice a consistent survey of the facility to ensure the staff and guests have everything they need to have a positive experience
