Manufacturing Engineer I Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a machine shop or similar manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on CNC experience; programming experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with metal cutting tools, holders, fixtures, and workholding
  • Ability to work across multiple machine types including lathes, machining centers, Swiss-type lathes, and manual equipment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Must be a team player willing to flex to help across a 5-person department
  • Valid driver’s license

Manufacturing Engineer I Preferred Background & Skills:

  • 2+ years of CNC programming experience, preferably using Espirit CAD/CAM
  • SolidWorks experience for designing custom workholding solutions
  • Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gages, CMM, and Optical Comparator
  • Experience supporting machinists during setup and troubleshooting CNC programs
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with experience in cycle time reduction and process optimization
