Trailer Mechanic (Experienced)

We are seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join a stable, well-run operation supporting commercial trailer maintenance and repair. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who takes pride in safety, quality workmanship, and consistency.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose, service, and repair commercial trailers in accordance with established repair standards
  • Perform required safety and compliance inspections, including FHWA/DOT inspections
  • Repair and maintain braking systems, suspension, air systems, and electrical components
  • Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shop and yard environment
  • Follow all safety, compliance, and quality procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on trailer repair experience (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of brake system experience (required)
  • Qualified to complete FHWA/DOT inspections
  • Strong working knowledge of air, electrical, braking, and suspension systems
  • General mechanical and body repair knowledge
  • Valid, current driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday, daytime schedule
  • Little to no nights or weekends
  • Stable workload with consistent hours
