Senior Project Manager – Construction

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead complex, ground-up construction projects in the multi-family, senior living, and K-12 sectors. Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Maintain full ownership of project budgets, schedules, contracts, and financial reporting
  • Oversee and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field teams
  • Manage relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards across all projects
  • Drive successful execution of self-performed work including concrete, carpentry, and structural trades
  • Utilize project management software such as MS Project, Procore, and Viewpoint

Senior Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Typically 10–12+ years of experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager
  • Proven experience leading $35M+ ground-up construction projects
  • Strong background in self-performed construction (development-only backgrounds not preferred)
  • Experience in multi-family, senior living, and/or K-12 construction
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Certifications (OSHA, PMP, LEED) are a plus but not required
