RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer sales process for the reporting sales staff.
  • Develop industry knowledge and customer knowledge of our business to effectively on-board new staff.
  • Ride with sales staff to develop knowledge of customers in the territory.
  • Forecast to aid in accurate quarterly ordering.
  • Has a clear understanding of retail financing and finance programs.
  • Must be willing to travel and attend National Industry Events & Manufacturer Meetings.
  • Conduct “Ride-a-longs” with TSM’s weekly throughout the assigned territory. 8-12 days monthly.
  • Responsible for building customer relationships, and management of National Accounts assigned to the region.
  • Expected to manage and oversee quotes before they are sent to the customer. In addition, support the Sales Support and Rental Department with needed territory or customer information.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and setting goals for incoming TSM’s
  • Responsible for the profitability and continued growth within the assigned region.
  • Work with Service Department to address issues and reconcile outstanding WO’s that need to be closed.
  • Responsible for the oversight of all RECO TSM’s as it relates to the sales department. Includes approval: Credit Card, Fuel, Travel, and

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver’s license and must meet General Liability driving requirements in order to operate a company vehicle when necessary.
  • Must be willing to travel regularly with little notice.
  • Physically able to climb on and operate heavy equipment
  • Minimum 5 years in an Equipment Sales Leadership/ Management role is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google platform
  • Familiarity with CRM and logistic software
  • Strong communicator, leadership skills, and a willingness to hold employees accountable.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of equipment products and the industry.
  • Ability to function in a team environment and work with other groups for maximum customer satisfaction.
  • The position of Regional Sales Manager is classified as a safety-sensitive position.
