Job Title: Zero Trust Security Specialist

Work Type: Hybrid GridIron IT is seeking a Zero Trust Security Specialist local to Washington, DC. Active Top Secret (SCI Eligibility) Clearance Required! These professionals will engage with the IT programs to prepare the security body of evidence artifacts for the for our client’s cyber security office. We have a team that aims to adapt, design, deliver, and integrate advanced technology solutions to improve data sharing, exploitation, and analysis. As a Security Analyst, you will understand project requirements to prepare necessary documentation to describe client IT systems and improve the Zero Trust maturity of mission-critical systems. You will work with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver solutions for specific use cases. You will also perform non-technical analyses on project issues and help to ensure technical implementations meet mission expectations. Qualifications:
Active TS-SCI clearance Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity or a technical field, or related degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with 2+ years demonstrated cybersecurity experience. Active Cybersecurity IAT Level 2 or IAM Level 3 certifications.
Solid understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements. Working knowledge of Body of Evidence artifacts, to include system Concept of Operations, System Security Plans, FIPS 199 Worksheets, Privileged User Guides, Continuity Plans, and other artifacts, as required by the system ISSO.
Experience working with improving Zero Trust Maturity of IT systems. Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team. Proficient organization and communication skills. Comfortable with daily client engagement. Onsite delivery 3+days a week. Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycle. Familiarity and experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Experience in providing security support in a predominantly Agile environment. Experience working with systems engineering functions including operations concept development, system and product design, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control. Knowledge of and experience working in requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, Agile Manager, etc.). Responsibilities:
Interpret business needs and project requirements as it pertains to IT system security. Work with the Cybersecurity and Policy & Governance teams to ensure compliance with oversight responsibilities. Work with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal security solutions for specific use cases. Perform non-technical analyses on project issues and help to ensure technical implementations follow mission expectations. Partner with a government product owners and product development teams for systems being development for the client. Develop and maintain artifacts. ? Skills:

Compensation and Benefits: Salary Range: $150,000-190,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
