Overview: Group W, a 100% employee-owned company, is searching for a hands-on Senior Software Architect/Developer to lead and manage software development projects in support of our Department of Defense client. The highly skilled professional will determine, plan, and delegate tasks on all software development projects for the respective client. The professional is an active member of the development team. Duties/Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of software developers to:
o Determine and analyze all technical needs
o Design architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements
o Test software for quality assurance
o Identify and resolve issues in software systems as needed
• Write and test code as needed
• Provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
• Document software functionality and components
• Approve final products before launch
• Analytically and systematically evaluate any workflow, organization, and planning problems
• Develop corrective actions to respective problems
• Track project development process
• Facilitate presentations, training, and briefings as requested Basic requirements: • 7+ years' experience in software design engineering
• Java or .Net Architecture experience • Four-year degree from an accredited university
• Fluency in multiple programming languages
• U.S. Citizenship – Have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance Preferred:
• Active Secret clearance
• Master's degree in computer science and engineering, or other related technical fields
• High-level experience with database design, software design patterns, and software architecture/collaborative design tools
• Working knowledge of multiple programming languages and frameworks
• Firm understanding of software quality assurance procedures
• Ability to develop and brief software development progress to internal and external leadership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen intently
Salary: $170,000 - $220,000 (provided as a general guideline only. Compensation dependent upon relevant work experience related to the scope of the position, education, training, and market considerations). Benefits:
