Contract Duration 8 Weeks
Pay rate up to $22/hr
Job Description
The Medical Assistant will assist with office/ medical procedures, processing patient referrals to other providers, scheduling, and other duties as needed.
Rooming patients, Getting vitals, Knowledge of our EMR, Medical Terminology, and Typing Skills.
The Medical Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Practice Coordinator, designee, or provider to support secretarial and nursing staff in the areas of patient care.
High School Diploma/GED.
Medical experience preferred, clerical and computer knowledge required. Prefer at least one year of experience in a medical office setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology and/or 3rd party insurance process preferred.
PC/CRT data entry and strong customer service skills.
Note:
40 hours weekly
8-hour or 10-hour shifts depending on the office.
