Guam Radiology Consultants is much more than diagnostic and interventional radiology. We operate the largest and most advanced Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology center in the Western Pacific. We perform interventional radiology procedures, for example chemoembolization, dialysis fistula work and lower extremity arterial stenting. We also have a cardiology practice (Pacific Cardiology Consultants) with cardiac catheterization, cardioversion and TEE procedures. We have an OR in our facility used mostly for breast procedures. We have a full-service endoscopy center. We are all out-patient and operate regular hours from: 8AM – 6PM, Monday to Friday and 8AM – 1PM on Saturday. There is no hospital-based work and the there is no on-call status required.

JOB SUMMARY: The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team of CRNAs to provide anesthesia care in our operating room, endoscopy suite and interventional suite. A pediatric anesthesiologist is available for kids. Typical care includes preanesthesia assessment, administration of monitored anesthesia care, airway management, post anesthesia care and patient discharge. Our CRNAs assume the management of patients, functioning in both an independent and collaborative role with our staff physicians, nurses and other members of the health care team. As an expert practitioner, the CRNA designs individualized treatment plans, evaluates outcomes, and modifies treatment plans as needed. We operate as a team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assess, plan, evaluate and implement the anesthetic management of patients with accurate medical record documentation.
• Provides continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care and corrects abnormal patient responses. Involves attending physician regarding plan of care and involves physician in clinical decision making of any issues that are outside the CRNA's knowledge base or scope of practice.
• Participates in and helps develop and implements performance and/or quality improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to the legal and ethical standards of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Follows appropriate safety standards and ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies as they pertain to the delivery of CRNA services.
• Acts as a clinical resource to our interdisciplinary health care team. May serve as a mentor to new staff or students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education: Required: Master’s Degree.
Minimum Experience: 3-years.
Preferred Experience: 5 years
