Summary: The role of the CDL Driver(CDL Required) local CDL driver/truck driver for Gunnison Tree Services, a Gunnison Company is to provide support and assistance to the crew leader(s) in day-to-day tree care operations. Duties include (but are not limited to):

Assist climbers by working on the ground, handing tools and heavy materials as needed
Keeping the work area clear of debris, cleaning up limbs and branches as they are
brought down in tree cutting work
Raking the area clear to maintain the safety zone
Lining up branches and piling appropriately for loading into the chipper.
Keeping tools in the staging area and safe zone
Assuring that all lines are kept clear at all times
Being attentive to the crew leader's cues throughout the job and maintaining awareness of potential hazards
Safely driving company vehicles to / from job sites
Service truck and equippment. Keep trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion
Maintaining equipment such as keeping chainsaws sharpened
Operating heavy equipment such as a skid steer
Tying knots and operating rigging equipment
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

Must pass a background check and drug test
- Valid driver's license
- Valid CDL(Required)
