Hardware and A/V Technician & Maintainer with TS/SCI – Ft. Responsibilities: • Plan and design the installation, configuration, and de-installation of IT hardware equipment. • Coordinate with the customer to schedule activities while not impairing or interrupting ongoing missions at USAICoE. Equipment includes computers, laptops, thin or zero client end-points, monitors, speakers, keyboards, mice, Keyboard/Video/Mouse (KVM) switching equipment, and other desktop endpoint computing and display equipment. • Support Audio/Visual equipment in USAICoE training and mission facilities, including design, installation programming, maintenance, and management of audiovisual control systems (Crestron, AMX, Cisco, or equivalent); display systems (flat screen monitors, projectors, projection screens, and other display mechanisms); audio equipment (audio amplifiers, speakers, microphones, mixers, cabling); and video equipment (VTC codecs, cameras, projection equipment, video matrix switching equipment, and other video display equipment). • Manage hardware life-cycle replacement and product warranties with various vendors. • Create and update computer network and hardware diagrams using MS Visio. • Troubleshoot basic network and hardware problems that arise during IT Enterprise operations. Requirements: • Current TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility • CompTIA Security + certification • At least 4 years of practical experience • Knowledge of computer hardware and their interconnectivity • Knowledge of A/V systems Preferred Qualifications: • BS degree in an IT related field • Proven leadership skills • Crestron certification or in-depth knowledge of Crestron systems • Knowledge of Cisco VTC codecs
