Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of radiology procedures; including computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging or interventional radiology procedures. Communicates and works independently in performing all procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of the hospital. Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology
• 2 years previous diagnostic experience in acute care facility
• Desirable State Registered Radiologic Technologist Current BLS
• Current certification by ARRT (R) and CE compliance, ARRT (CT), and ARRT (MR)
• Familiar with the majority of diagnostic radiology procedures. High degree of manual, mental and dexterity skills necessary for operation of equipment and patient care. 
• Capable of applying technical skills to all ages of patients. Organizational, Verbal, Interpersonal, Customer Relations, Mathematical, Analytical, Grammar/Spelling, Read/Comprehend written instructions, Follow verbal instructions, Computer, Clerical, MediTech
