Come join our team!In the role of Project Architect, we will look for you to:Lead the delivery team in the execution of contract documentsLead technical work sessions and coordination across disciplinesEnsure integration of building systems, materials, codes, and life-safety requirementsCoordinate the drawings, project manual, and specificationsManage construction administration services with RFIs, Bulletins, and Change OrdersPerform QA/QC reviews and coordinate with HDR’s QA/QC DirectorDevelop staff assignments in coordination with the Project ManagerParticipate in interviews, marketing, and business development effortsParticipate in client and regulatory agency meetingsParticipate in building cost estimate reconciliations and project buy-outsManage and mentor staff to assist them in achieving their professional career goals*LI-MJ1QualificationsYears of Experience15+ years of experience preferredRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or Master of ArchitectureRegistered ArchitectStrong verbal, writing, and communication skillsStrong presentation skillsAbility to lead technical coordination meetingsExperience with integrated project deliveryLocal Healthcare experience is a plus, but not requiredLEED accreditation is encouragedFamiliarity with LEAN concepts is encouragedSoftware ExperienceProficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit & Sketch-UpMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Power Point)Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & In-Design)Newforma & BluebeamPreference given to local candidates Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's also about what you do and how you do it.
