Physical Therapist Houston, TX
We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist to join our practice full time in Houston, TX. We are seeking a physical therapist who has experience with or a desire to learn and focus on patients with vestibular issues and balance problems, as well as general physical therapy. Ideally, the incoming Physical therapist is a team player, who enjoys working with a multidisciplinary team to provide the highest level of care. A huge plus if the therapist is dry needle certified. We will consider recent grads!

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer skilled physical therapy treatment in accordance with the physician orders, referrals, prescriptions, current standards of care, and by assessing and interpreting evaluations, records and test results of patients CDP's, DN, Manual therapy, Vestibular evaluations (we will train for this aspect)
  • Encourage continuation of therapeutic plan by designing home exercise regimens, recommending assistive equipment and follow-up programs that improve the patient's overall health.
  • Ensure smooth and timely patient flow in accordance with scheduled appointment times
  • Promptly and thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records, including but not limited to, daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, treatment progress and responses, and discharge summaries
  • Lead by example and ensure accountability to the clinic missions, policies, standards, and goals.
  • Supervise PT Assistants, and Technicians with patient care and related activities, in accordance with skill level and deemed appropriate by the State Code of Laws and other governing entities such as Medicare
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient personal health information in accordance with HIPAA compliance
Required Skills and qualifications:
  • Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited school
  • Current TX State licensing and all other state-required documentation
Schedule:
  • M-Th 8-5 Fri 8-2
Salary:
  • $75k to $90k plus bonuses (depending on experience)
