A day in the life of a Help Desk Analyst: As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be expected to become familiar with a variety of software applications and hardware layouts, to help trouble shoot and resolve incoming customer support tickets. This job is for you if you: Can verbally communicate well with others; multi-task; learn new technologies and interact well with others. The ideal candidate will: * Have previously worked as a Help Desk Analyst or has Public Safety Software experience
* Love resolving issues
* Have strong organizational skills
* Have the ability to prioritize actions
* Work well with others
* Have great customer service skills What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have): * Bachelor's Degree + 4 years of applicable experience or equivalent applicable experience
* Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a US Secret clearance.
* Customer support/help desk experience required or Public Safety Software experience.
* Familiarity with Computer Aided Dispatch systems or Public Safety Software a plus
* Experience with Microsoft operating systems. Windows 2016 Server and Windows 10 experience required.
* CompTIA Security+ certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
* Must work well with others, be able to learn new technologies required.
* Exhibit excellent work ethics and verbal communications skills required.
* Ability to function independently with little supervision and guidance required.
* Availability to travel as needed to customer sites required.
* Ability to work directly with customers to gather required information to resolve issues
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite products required * Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle preferred.
* Familiarity with relational database structure preferred.
* Must be able to work, days, evenings, nights and weekends to support a 24/7 help desk Required Level of Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret Clearance. Security Clearance Statement: This position does not require a government security clearance, but you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
