Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Leverages understanding of materials and processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. As a trusted subject matter expert in composites manufacturing, your expertise in everything from tooling to fabrication to low observables, will assist you in supporting the build of legacy composite control surfaces and edges.
Required:
Experience in Composite Fabrication and Composite Assembly
Experience in Mechanical Assembly and System Installation
Previous experience working with CNC Machine Operators
Preferred:
Experience with LO (Low Observable) composite assemblies
STEM type degree
