Hiawatha HomeCare has immediate opportunities for caring nurses to provide 1:1 care for our client, located in Hudson, WI!
*Requirements:*
* Must have an active RN or LPN license in Wisconsin.
* No experience necessary! Will train the right candidate!
*Position Summary:*
* You would care for a young woman in her home.
* Full-time, part-time & PRN hours are available.
*Pay:*
* Registered Nurse (RN): $30 - $34 per hour (DOQ)
* Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $20 - $24 per hour (DOQ)
*Core Responsibilities:*
* Provides home care nursing in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
* Provides advice & support to the client's family.
* Reports significant changes in the client's condition to the family, RN Clinical Manager, & physician.
* Obtains physician orders for changing client care needs.
* Maintains accurate & current plan of care, physician's orders, and medication profile for the client.
* Charts cares thoroughly & accurately during shift.
*About Hiawatha HomeCare:*
Karen Seifert founded Hiawatha HomeCare in 1988, but it was the birth of her son, Michael, that inspired the birth of Hiawatha HomeCare. Michael Seifert was born in 1985 with a rare & serious condition that kept him in the hospital for much of his 1st year of life. When he was a year old, Michael's doctors said he would spend the rest of his short life in the ICU... but Karen disagreed. So, Michael came home on life support.
In 2023, Michael passed away after a brief illness. Michael's memory will be forever woven into the fabric of our agency, and his story serves as a daily reminder of the power of Home Care from the Heart.
