ICOFT Software Tester Location: Huntsville, AL Description: Seeking a Software Tester to support the Systems Simulation, Software, and Integration Directorate (S3I) in continuation of the Institutional Conduct of Fire Trainer (ICOFT) sustainment and development of the Radar Training Device (RTD). In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers. Responsibilities: Analyze requirements and design concepts. Generate and execute manual test procedures, document actual results during execution, reviewing and analyzing the test results, and report/track anomalies. Track defect reports from creation to closure, document detailed description of the defect and work with software developers to reproduce and resolve. Participate in test documentation peer reviews and provide feedback making sure that developed test cases meet the specified requirements. Assist in maintaining traceability matrix, maintain regression test database, and create test reports at the end of each testing phase Work closely with system engineers, software engineers, system administrators, and other cross functional teams. Required Skills: Any prior experience with Patriot or THAAD configurations. Experience working with system and software requirements. Familiarity with the Agile software development process. Any experience with Solaris and Linux operating systems, at the user level. Familiar with Atlassian Suite, Jira, Bitbucket, Git Prior experience using JIRA to track bugs and tasking.
