Responsibilities
The Charge Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. She or he provides direct care to these patients via the nursing process, the environmental/instrumentation and management of other health care team members. In additional, the Charge Nurse is expected to perform the duties of a Staff Nurse.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Obtained an Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
- Two to five years of clinical experience.
- Possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.
- Obtain and maintain a current certification in CPR.
- NRP and STABLE must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Clinical experience in the area of application.
- Experience in patient care management.
