Manufacturing Packer - South Charlotte

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Packer supports production by safely packing finished goods, maintaining quality standards and keeping pace with fast moving manufacturing lines. 

Schedule & Pay:

  • Day Shift: 8am - 8pm — $15/hr
  • Night Shift: 8pm - 8am — $15.50/hr 
  • Rotation: 2-2-3 schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days; rotates weekly)

Working Environment

  • Manufacturing setting
  • Hot and cold temperature exposure 
  • Loud noises
  • Fast-paced production lines 

 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Production sheet reading - Review specs to ensure correct product packaging
  • Packaging preparation - Build pallets, label materials, and prepare packaging for finished goods
  • Production inspection - Inspect film/product, document findings, and report defects or concerns
  • Line support - Remove finished product from the line, pack neatly, and maintain pace with production goals
  • Weight recording - weigh cases and record accurate measurements using UCL.LCL targets 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Basic machine operation understanding
  • Mechanical aptitude and PC knowledge
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work non-standard hours
  • Ability to manage job-related stress and maintain positive workplace interactions
