Job Role: Middleware Engineer

Job Description:-

We are looking for a skilled, tremendously enthusiastic Middleware Engineer to join us and become a part of a high-performing, well-acclaimed DevOps team working with cutting-edge technologies (e.g. LAMP stack, memcache, javascript, etc.) on a fascinating project with significant effect. The Middleware Engineer will be a core, pivotal, and transformational member of the engineering team. You will work as an integral part of our agile team in analyzing, designing, building, and testing high quality deployment methodologies and systems. This position will be fully responsible for our platform and applicatio pipelines, and the flow of code updates through the engineering group, as well as creating and monitoring highly available infrastructure and platforms to host that code.

Skills Required

  • Experience with complex integrating and connecting systems, software, and technologies to ensure they work together effectively
  • Experience completing safe and successful deployment of software applications and updates into a production environment
  • Certificate management experience as it relates to issuing, renewing, and deploying certificates to endpoints (servers, appliances, devices, etc.) so that network services are uninterrupted.
  • Deep experience with the LAMP stack technologies and experience supporting Development teams
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills to design middleware that's appropriate for the environment for optimized performance.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues that arise between systems and analyze and resolve middleware user incidents.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance-level administrative functions for middleware.
  • Continual learning in emerging technology trends and apply innovative technologies to update existing middleware.
  • Ensure optimal performance for middleware components by resolving any software and hardware problems.
  • Experience with AWS migrations
  • Experience with web technologies and building enterprise architecture roadmaps
  • Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions in a multinational environment
  • Knowledge of client-server networking and database management
  • Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction, estimate of the solution implementation and provide hardware recommendations for complex technical issues
  • Experience in planning and developing support processes and adhering to best practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
  • Anticipate and evaluate architecture risks
  • Comprehend complex technical details and relay information to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience utilizing monitoring tools to perform health checks of infrastructure to identify and proactively pre-empt issues from occurring (verification, alerts, etc.)
  • Experience writing scripts and queries to receive expected outcome to investigate complex issues or obtain required data
  • Experience with managing / maintaining Linux Crontab
  • Availability for on-call 24/7 support as needed or necessary.

Certifications

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT systems, computer science, or a closely related degree
  • Experience of 5+ years in Middleware Engineer role handling oversight of application and infrastructure
